His Story

Pbgen Roberto M. Damian (RET) dedicated 37 years of service in the military and police, finding fulfillment in ensuring public safety, securing justice, and saving lives during disasters and accidents. His most memorable accomplishments include “Zero Casualty” during Typhoon Pepeng in 2009, for which he received recognition from the National Disaster Coordinating Council, and being named PNP Junior Police Officer of the Year in 1996 for notable law enforcement achievements such as the recapture of fugitive Rolito Go.

He played key roles in high-profile events, including the peaceful resolution of the Manila Peninsula standoff, leadership in UN and humanitarian missions in Haiti and Iraq, and earning multiple best unit awards. His career is distinguished by the prestigious Dangal ng PNP Award, honoring him as an epitome of selfless service, professionalism, honesty, and dedication—qualities that continue to inspire others in the service of God, country, and people.
