His Story

Engr. Edgardo C. Calantuan, a Mapúa Electrical Engineering graduate (1974), is a seasoned Professional Electrical Engineer with expertise in MEPF construction, operations, and maintenance. He also holds certifications as a DOE-Certified Energy Manager, DENR-EMB Pollution Control Officer, and PRC-licensed Registered Master Plumber. Over his career, he has managed major projects such as the Philippine Arena’s underground power distribution, ASEANA Park, and GGLC Aeropark Buildings in Clark, while also serving as Facilities Manager at The Medical City.

His professional journey includes more than a decade of overseas experience in Saudi Arabia, where he rose to Senior Manager in the Saudi American Bank’s Premises Division. Since 2019, he has shifted to consultancy with Cynros Development Corporation, continuing to share his expertise while scaling down from active project work. Engr. Calantuan’s career reflects over four decades of excellence in engineering leadership, project management, and facilities development both locally and abroad.
