Christopher T. “Perry” Bellaflor, a Professional Electrical Engineer, completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering at Mapúa in just 4 ½ years, graduating in November 1992. With over 25 years of expertise in facilities planning, operations, and energy management, he has built a career that bridges technical excellence with leadership. His contributions to energy efficiency have earned his company multiple Department of Energy awards, alongside his own recognition as an Outstanding Energy Manager three times. In 2011, he became both an ASEAN Certified Energy Manager and the country’s representative in regional competitions, receiving the Best Energy Management Practice and Best Special Energy Project awards. A long-time member of the IIEE, Perry served as President of the Central Laguna Chapter, leading it to a Chapter Excellence Gold Award in 2019. Since 2020, he has chaired the IIEE’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Committee, positioning electrical engineering at the forefront of RA 11285 implementation and serving as a sought-after resource speaker for technical seminars and government working groups.
Beyond his profession, Perry is deeply involved in parish service, heading several ministries, singing in the Apostoles Choir, and supporting counseling and formation programs. He also completed theological studies at Divine Word Seminary and pursues his passion as a certified PADI Scuba Diving Instructor and Emergency First Response Instructor. A devoted husband and father, he continues to embody leadership, service, and innovation in both his professional and personal life.
