About the Founder
He graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1979. He is the man behind the Gentec Group. Starting out as an electrical contractor in 1985, Gentec has since grown into one of the Philippines’ leading panel builders. Its fabrication plants in Binangonan, Rizal and Mandaue City produce quality power (Medium and Low Voltage) products.
He was a co-founder of Asia Wiring System Singapore Private Ltd. in 1993. In 1997, Erwin founded AWS Distribution Phils. Corp. A pioneer in the structured cabling industry, AWS now boasts a comprehensive portfolio of Data Center, Telecommunications, Voice, and Security products, among others. He established multiple other companies which include Net Pacific, a PCAB-classified AAA Electrical Contractor and one of only four “Large B” Communication Facility Contractors in the country. Among other business ventures are Electrotrade Industries Inc., Gentec Distribution Corp. and Secore Global Inc.
Gentec’s work can be found inside some of the country’s leading-edge construction projects including commercial buildings, hotels, industrial plants, data centers, utilities and transport infrastructure.
