After graduating in Electrical Engineering during a time of nationwide power shortages, he began in sales with Philippine Appliance Corporation, where he discovered his calling in business management and pursued an MBA. His career path spans leadership roles in industrial and consumer sectors, marked by initiatives that expanded operations, created jobs, and introduced innovations such as the Philippines’ only Liquid Helium Transfill facility for MRI machines. He drove regional sales training across Asia, modernized distribution networks, and championed sustainability by helping replace single-use plastics in food packaging. His leadership extended to Pan de Manila’s expansion, Schaeffler Philippines’ growth into OEM markets, and the establishment of Honeywell Inc.’s Philippine operations. Today, as Head of the Geothermal Business Unit at Aboitiz Power, he oversees the country’s oldest geothermal plants, ensuring reliable renewable energy while mentoring the next generation of engineers. Notably, he spearheaded the 17MW Tiwi Binary project, a landmark investment in Albay’s energy landscape, exemplifying his legacy of innovation, resilience, and leadership in advancing the nation’s renewable energy goals.
