Team EECE Clinches 2nd runner up at 3rd Don Tomas Mapúa NAMA Tournament

he Department of Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Engineering (EECE) proudly made its mark at the recently concluded Don Tomas Mapúa (DTM) 3rd NAMA Inter-Affiliate Basketball Cup held last May 10, 2025. In an exciting showcase of talent and teamwork, the EE-ECE-COE squad clinched a decisive victory against the Mapúa CE-EnSE Cardinals in the Battle for 3rd Place, dominating the court with a commanding 85–52 finish.
The EECE team’s performance was a testament to discipline, preparation, and a shared drive to represent the department with pride. Each player brought energy and determination to the game, proving that EECE’s excellence extends beyond academics and innovation, it also thrives in camaraderie, sportsmanship, and competition. Their strong showing at the tournament reflects the growing presence of EECE in inter-affiliate events, reinforcing their reputation as a force both on and off the court.
The awarding ceremonies celebrated not only the champions and runners-up but also individual player achievements across statistical categories. While the AMHSAI Red Robins ultimately claimed the championship against the MEGAMapúa Cardinals in a high-scoring match, the EE-ECE-COE team’s podium finish highlighted their ability to compete at the highest level and secure a place among the tournament’s standout teams.
With the continued support of the National Association of Mapúa Alumni (NAMA) and generous sponsors including All Around Services and Merchandising Corp.
